I purchased a battery charger that did not arrive for 2 weeks, no one knew when or how it would be shipped when inquired. Disputed through Venmo but then got notice that it had been shipped. Once we received the product and plugged it in the charge never got more than 13%, which is very low compared to the usual 50-60% with same charger from another company. So I returned the item. I expected a full refund however they said they never received payment from Venmo even though Venmo has record of them receiving it and transfer to their bank. Battery evo put me on hold to go talk to billing and came back with an offer to pay me half my money back and be done with it (this is 3 weeks after returning product) I declined, I want all my money back. They have the product, the issue was now between them and Venmo, No longer with me, so they put me on hold again, except it was not on hold I could hear them talking mess about myself and other customers.the conversation has been recorded as well. They came back and said no they would not be refunding my money. I’m escalating the issue now. I do not recommend this company. Customer service and products are crap. I am a installation professional and reached out to Battery Evo today on behalf of a client in a bad situation. They were unfortunately left stranded by a previous contractor and in need of some serious technical help. We found out the batteries were purchased through Battery Evo and upon calling I was expecting to have to jump through hoops and wait for the level of Tech Support I needed. I immediately got through to one of their top-tier technicians on my initial call in a matter of minutes. That is extremely rare in this business. I followed up with a second call and had an awesome experience with another technician. Between those two brief phone calls, we were able to take care of a problem that has been going on for several weeks for this client. I didn’t even purchase the batteries from them and they gave me that level of support. I deal with a lot of companies and if this is how they treat someone who is not their customer, I can’t wait to see how things go now moving forward. I needed new batteries for my 72v gem golf cart and I did quite a bit of research before I decided to go with battery evo. I needed some extra information in order to diy swap my 6 agm batteries to lithium and it was pretty easy to find and I loved that when I called them I got a person in California who answered the phone and not only that who could also answer my questions and when they didn't have answers they would find someone who did and call me back. Overall it was fairly easy to order and I did it online when they had a sale so I got my order with a discount that basically paid for shipping. They have a 10 yr warranty and my order came with everything I needed to do an upgrade to my specific golf cart. I do wish it had some specific instructions to modify my in dash system with the correct battery amp hours remaining but that's ok that it didn't because it came with its very own little digital fuel gauge led which I mounted in the dash to know if I needed to charge or not. So I ordered the Battery Evo Walrus G2 with the extension pack, I absolutely love it had for almost a year now, my house is a 2,500 sqf two story home, I have a shop in the back with a 60 gal air compressor, also a one bedroom apartment, in the country so I have a water well pump (220v) and aerobic septic system, one 5 ton ac unit for the main house and a window unit for the apartment, electric water heater and laundry drier. All of this is powered by the Walrus except for the furnace and A/C compressor. I live in Texas and I have free nights plan, my electric bill went from $250 - $350 average to $25-35 a month this thing will pay it self off in a couple of years and I will have free power for a few years to come, I highly recommend Battery Evo and all their products. They both work great and as advertised. I had to change out the temp sensor/fan board on both units as it was a known issue for some of the inverters. It wasn't too difficult as they had a nice tutorial video on You Tube. One of my units also had a faulty wireless network adapter. They replaced these things all under warranty and the customer service has been good. I only leave 4 stars vs 5 bc I wish I hadn't needed to replace any of these things. Bought a complete system package EVO 2 that was advertised with a 58 volt charger, the first 2 out of three trips to course I was left stranded with dead batteries. Customer service was no help whatsoever, took many calls to get a return number for the charger. 10 days later received another charger, same issue. The charger never charged above 52 volts. This has been the absolute worst customer service I have ever had and I am left with a system that does not charge correctly. Do not believe a word these people say and do not purchase anything from them.
